Notice Description

The East of England Collaborative Procurement Hub is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement for the procurement of aseptic isolators. The notice has been published on Find a Tender. The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub do not currently hold a Framework Agreement for this Product. The aims and objectives of the Framework Agreement are to provide customers with Aseptic Isolators used in the preparation of aseptic hazardous and non-hazardous products in Pharmacy Aseptic Units. Aseptic Isolators are commonly found in the pharmacy departments of hospitals and can be used for producing various medicines, including chemotherapy medicines where an aseptic environment is required. The product will need to be suitable for disinfection and sterilisation. Providers would be expected to comply with the requirements of the specification once we make it available which will likely be at the tender stage. EoECPH wishes to work collaboratively with suppliers and asks for input from suppliers as to achieving the best route to market for this product. Successful suppliers will need to provide services such as design, installation, maintenance, warranties (where applicable) and service fees, which will be included in the framework agreement. The product will also be subject to various tests. Suppliers will need to commence the service by November 2024 (This date is subject to change and is a target date. It may be slightly earlier or later.) The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub is an 'in-scope organisation' and as such from the 1st April 2024, in line with the NHS Net zero supplier roadmap, we will be asking for all bidders to provide their Carbon Reduction Plans as part of the selection questionnaire across all of our categories. Please note: Failure to meet this requirement may result in bidders being unsuccessful in being appointed to the framework. Potential suppliers are asked to take part in a short market engagement questionnaire which is available to access on Atamis. Additional information: Please note that a Prior Information Notice has been published on Find a Tender titled 'Aseptic Isolators', alongside RFI questions to complete on Atamis.
