DUD-Gas Central Heating and Boiler Replacement Contract 2020/2025
Notice Description
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking tenders from experienced contractors to provide gas centralheating and boiler replacement for contract period 2020-2025 to service almost 22 000 Council properties. The works will include carrying out gas Central heating repairs and boiler replacement to void and occupied tenanteddomestic dwellings. This will also include carrying out responsive day to day, planned, reactive and emergencyrepairs as required where necessary replacement of appliances and systems. Operate out of hours emergencyincluding call out repairs service. The duration of the contract will be 5 years with an initial term 3 years withoption to extend by aggregate 24 months subject to satisfactory performance during the initial term. The projectwill comprise planned works programme which includes typically replacement of existing type boilers, controlsand radiators in general needs properties, full dwelling replacement of existing central heating system. Additional information: This exercise is being conducted in electronic format (e-tender). If you wish to take part please register with Dudley MBC e-tendering website www.blackcountry business.co.uk and use the register/sign in button which is located on the left-hand side of the page and complete the registration forms. Following registration, an email will be sent to you advising of your user ID along with a reminder of your email address and password. Details of the project are located under the all opportunities link which is also where you can express an interest and receive the documentation. Once you have done this you must log back into the website using the details provided following registration and locate the contract document under tenders, my tenders on the menu. The tender should be received no later than Wednesday 02.10.2019 at 12:00 and will be available for download until 23:59 on Tuesday 31.10.2019. URL: www.blackcountrybusiness.co.uk. To access documents bidders are required to register with the website. This may be done in 2 ways: 1) Use the register/sign in button located on the Home screen; or 2) Find the project under the all opportunities link and use the express interest button. Companies who have previously registered with the website will be invited to input their login detail. Once an expression of interest has been accepted by the system, Users must log back into the system to access documents. Now they will appear under the my tenders tab. Funding Description The contract is partly funded from European Structural & Investment Funds (ESIF) who are the managing authority. The funds were secured to deliver a programme of energy improvement measures which are to be implemented across Dudley MBC building estates.
