Notice Title

VEAT notice for the supply of Urolift consumables

Notice Description

VEAT published for a 10 day period from 11.7.18 to 23.7.18 for the supply of Urolift Consumables without any objections in the marketplace. Consequently the Trust intends to award the contract for the supply of Urolift Consumables to NEOTRACT following the expiry of the VEAT notice. . Benign prostatic hyperplasia affects over 500 million men worldwide. While men can select from a variety of treatment options - from medication to major surgery - there has been a gap in the treatment continuum for a less invasive option. Prostatic Urethral Lift using the UroLift(r) System was designed to meet this need. With its unique design and mechanism of action, the UroLift System is a straightforward treatment that provides immediate, visible results. The procedure can be done in an outpatient or inpatient setting and under general or local anesthesia. Patients typically can return home the same day without a catheter, and experience rapid symptom relief and recovery with low complication rates. The UroLift System treatment revitalizes the quality of life for patients and improves the BPH therapy experience for physicians.
