Notice Description

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is pleased to offer an opportunity for two Contractors to construct Hidden Homes within the Royal Borough's housing stock. The procurement seeks tenders to construct Hidden Homes. Hidden Homes can be constructed on vacant, underutilised or derelict areas such as old garages, stores, parking, space under existing residential blocks, on roofs of residential blocks and infill areas between blocks. The Royal Borough is intending to appoint two framework contractors for a period of three years with an option to extend for a further year. Please note that the deadline for tender submissions is 3rd September 2021 at 12:00PM NOON UK Time. The deadline for clarification responses is 27th August 2021. All correspondence for this tender must be sent via the Proactis E-Tendering Portal. Any correspondence sent outside of the portal will not be answered. The council will respond periodically to clarification questions via the E-Tendering portal. Please note that this tender has been advertised on Contracts Finder/ other web portals, however, supplying the Procontract tender portal is the only portal that includes all the relevant documents required to respond to the opportunity, bearing Project ID: DN563078. No tender submissions will be considered without completing the tender documents in full including attachments and returning them in alignment with the instructions within the tender documents. We have had issues with Contracts Finder and the tender deadline times. The deadline for submission of tenders for this project is Friday 3rd September 2021 at 12:00PM NOON UK Local Time. The contract period is initially for a period of three (3) years although the Royal Borough of Greenwich reserves the right to extend the contract on the same terms for a further (1) year making a total possible contract period of four (4) years.
