Notice Description

Fire Alarm Support Contractor Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of a Fire Alarm Support Contractor Project Description Swindon Borough Council (SBC), wishes to submit to tender the requirements for the provision of a fire alarm support contractor to complete testing on our complex fire alarm systems, including planned and reactive maintenance. Repair support on fire systems to support our in-house team, as well as emergency out of hours support for all fire alarm systems, this includes both conventional types and addressable systems located within all buildings owned and managed by Swindon Borough Council for a period of 2 years + 2 year optional extension period to start on 1st May 2024. The initial contract term will be for 24 months with an option to extend for a further 24 months (1 periods of 24 months) for a potential total contract term of 4 years as stated in the ITT documents. Estimated contract spend is between PS135,000 and PS138,000 across the initial 2 year contract term and between PS270,000 and PS276,000 across the potential total 4 year contract term. Full details relating to the Goods and Services are provided in the tender documents. To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. In the event of difficulties registering as a supplier, please refer to the System Administrator Proactis support team ProContractSuppliers@proactis.com Tender clarifications to be submitted in writing via Messaging in ProContract tender portal by 29th November 2023, 15:00 hrs UK Local time. The Council's responses to these clarification questions will be issued periodically on the ProContract tender portal.
