Summary of the contracting process

Bromley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is currently conducting a tender for "Booked appointment phlebotomy services" within the healthcare sector. The procurement process is at the active tender stage, seeking to enhance phlebotomy services across the borough of Bromley. The deadline for tender submissions was on 20th March 2016, and the contract period commenced on 21st March 2016, concluding on 30th April 2016. The estimated contract value is £196,660, and services are expected to include booked appointments with quick availability and high-quality delivery by trained phlebotomists.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in healthcare services, particularly those with experience in phlebotomy. Companies that can offer equitable and robust local appointment services, alongside a commitment to high patient satisfaction, will find themselves well-suited to compete. The emphasis on swift access and collaboration with existing providers, such as King's College Hospital, suggests a collaborative approach, which may also benefit local SME healthcare providers looking to expand their service offerings.
