Wigan Council is seeking to procure a panel of contractors to be part of a framework agreement for some additional building and associated works of varied values per works / project, that were not successfully tendered for in a previous framework. The type of works may be both planned and reactive works carried out on a variety of premises. The intended make-up of the Framework Part 2 is for the creation of a number of individual Lots covering specific areas of work: Cleaning, Clearing of Social Housing, Painting, Garage Doors, Various Flooring, Metal Gates & Fencing, Soft & Hard Groundworks, providing the best opportunity for the broadest range of Prospective Providers to apply for and be successful in joining the Framework. The lots comprising this framework agreement are as follows: Lot 11a - Cleaning of Dispersed / Furnished Properties - Social Housing and Void Properties Lot 12 - Clearing of Social Housing Lot 13a - Painting and Decorating including Graffiti Removal - Social Housing Lot 13b - Painting and Decorating including Graffiti Removal - Other Premises and Sites Lot 14 - Garage Doors - Fit New and Repair Existing Lot 16a - Flooring Tiling - Social Housing Lot 16b - Flooring Carpets - Social Housing Lot 16c - Flooring Various (All Uses) - Other Premises and Sites Lot 20a - Metal Gates and Fencing - Social Housing Lot 20b - Metal Gates and Fencing - Other Premises and Sites Lot 29a - Groundwork (Hard) - Social Housing Lot 29b - Groundwork (Soft) - Social Housing The closing date for the receipt of final tender applications is 4th January 2017 at 12:00 noon. The procurement documents are available for unrestricted and full direct access, free of charge, at https://www.the-chest.org.uk (The Chest North-West E-Procurement Portal). This Contract Notice was submitted for publication in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) on 28th November 2016 and published with reference number 2016/S 231-420473; a Corrigendum Notice was also subsequently submitted and published on 6th December 2016 with reference number 2016/S 235-428023. [A Contract Notice published with reference number 2016/S 233-423872 was published in error]. Additional information: Wigan Council is using the e-procurement portal known as The Chest at https://www.the-chest.org.uk/ to conduct the procurement exercise. To gain access to the tender documents applicants will need to register their details at the following link https://procontract.due-north.com/register.
