Notice Title

RFQ -- Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyser

Notice Description

NPL is looking at acquiring a laser diffraction system for particle analysis. The system should be inclusive of sample handling units for both powder and wet dispersion. NPL is expanding its consultancy service to include the pharmaceutical sector, additive manufacturing and nano-materials based products such as graphene-based and nanoparticle-based. The laser diffraction system will be an important addition to the current particle analysis laboratory and will allow to expand our consultancy to particles in the sub-micrometer, micrometer and nanometer scale. Importantly, the system will introduce a high through put capability for the analysis of dry and wet particle samples, and provide a high degree of sample measurement flexibility which can be flexibly applied to a wide range of industrial products.
