HOUSING SOLUTIONS OFFICER Rate of Pay: ?12.95 ph to worker (for limited rate candidates, please let us know their rate of pay when uploading their CV). Hours: 37 (Monday-Friday) Location: Based at Business and Development Centre, Roway Lane, Oldbury, B69 3ES Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Agency - 12 weeks Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: To support the Housing Solutions Team to review open homeless applications, to make contact with our customers to give general housing advice and where necessary complete a Housing Needs Assessment. The role will be required to formulate the Personal Housing Plan and progress the case to make homelessness decisions in line with our duties under the Homeless Reduction Act 2017. It is ideal that candidates have a sound knowledge of the legislation and experience of supporting customers with support plans. Additional information on this role: o IT Skills o Experience of Housing Options o Knowledge and experience of homelessness Will need to 'hit the ground running' so experience in this field is essential.
