Notice Description

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced provider to deliver a Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Awareness and Training Programme. The Provider will develop, promote and provide bespoke mental health and suicide prevention awareness and training package with a range of health promotion campaigns and courses. The programme will focus on providing training opportunities primarily, but not exclusively, for Adult and Older People's front-line workers (including volunteers and community leaders) who have regular face to face interaction with citizens who are at particular risk of experiencing mental health problems. The programme will address a range of issues across the mental health and wellbeing spectrum from building resilience, to promoting healthy lifestyles for people with mental health problems and suicide prevention<b></b> Bidders must have a minimum of three years' experience in the delivery of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention awareness and training to both professional groups and in the wider community.
