Notice Description

For each lift in HMNB Portsmouth(circa 60Nr), the enabling project (BLD0311-01 Lift Survey Programme) has produced a Lift Condition Report, with an Annex that details recommended Immediate Repair Works, and recommended Major Works. This opportunity is for the Both Repair & Major Works. A programme of works is to be developed for the delivery in batches of several lifts in stages to deliver the complete programme. CDM Responsibilities The awarded Sub-Contractor shall provide all information required to update the Health and Safety File. They shall undertake the following duties on behalf of the Principal Designer and Principal Contractor: Plan, Manage, Monitor and Coordinate Health and Safety in the construction phase. Produce and agree a Construction Phase Plan. Coordinate work with other contractors. Ensuring: Suitable site inductions are provided for all site workers and visitors. Reasonable steps are taken to prevent unauthorised access including signage. Workers are consulted and engaged in securing their Health and Safety
