GB-Edinburgh: ISO Certification 2024 to 2029
Notice Description
Northern Lighthouse Board requires transfer/revalidation of ISO certification standards, if appropriate, to ensure current levels of assurance are maintained. The associated, follow-on periodic audits should be combined / integrated audits for ISO 9001,14001 & 45001 undertaken by qualified and approved auditors to enable the optimal integration of these standards. Additional audit cycles shall also be undertaken against ISO 27001 by qualified and approved auditors on behalf of the certification body. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers shall be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. Auditors shall be required to operate in remote island locations some of which are accessible only by sea or air, therefore must be prepared, when and where appropriate, to fly by helicopter and be accommodated on board a sea going tender or vessel. Auditors will require to have sufficient fitness to navigate difficult terrain underfoot, climb vertical ladders, work at height when visiting lighthouses, and operate on lighthouse balconies wearing a suitable safety harness. Evidence of valid Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) certification shall be required or confirmation provided that certification will be obtained prior to the commencement of the contract.
