Notice Description

The Council wants to procure the supply and installation of 4 pieces of skate park equipment.The work will involve the removal and disposal of 3 items of existing skate park equipment; supply and installation of 4 new items of skate park equipment and patch repair work to the bitmac surface following completion of removal and installation works. The skate park equipment must be manufactured from heavy duty steel frames with 6mm thick solid steel skating surface and skateActive textured surface coating . Handrails, grindrails and kickers should all be manufactured from galvanized steel sheet clad internally with marine grade ply. All must comply with BS EN14974. The equipment and its installation must all comply with BS EN14974. The supplier must get an independent post installation inspection of each piece of equipment installed. The inspection must be satisfactory and the documentation provided to Tameside Council
