Roller Shutters - Planned Maintenance, Minor Installations and Responsive Repair Works for Operational Schools and Commercial Buildings
Notice Description
North Tyneside Council (the 'Authority') is seeking tenders for the delivery of planned and responsive repairs and maintenance for operational, schools and commercial buildings. The Framework is for an initial period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further year (potential three year contract). The works will be carried out anywhere within the Borough of North Tyneside and include planned and reactive services to repair and maintain Roller Shutters. The Contractor(s) will work with the Authority to provide innovative solutions to reduce costs and streamline delivery/collection methods throughout the contract term. Tenderers will be ranked with up to 3 contractors being awarded a place on the framework. Responsive repair services will be provided by the first ranked Contractor using their submitted rates, if the first ranked Contractor cannot fulfil the requirements then the Authority shall contact the second ranked and then the third ranked where applicable. Following establishment of the responsive repairs framework the Authority shall carry out mini-competitions for the planned preventative maintenance element of the contract. It is anticipated the Contract will start in April 2020. Accessing opportunities on the NEPO PORTAL Interested organisations MUST register and interest and then locate documentation which MUST be downloaded and fully completed to enable your organisation to resubmit the fully completed response into the opportunity on the NEPO Portal by the deadline stated. 1. Select 'Register an interest in this opportunity' which will direct you to a new screen. (if you have already done this and did not access the documents immediately go straight to paragraph 4). 2. Once the screen opens, go to the paragraph 'What happens next' and at the end of that paragraph at the option 'To view this RFX event now, click 'here'. Select 'here' 3. You will be directed to a new screen and the Tender Documents are located at very the bottom of the screen (you may have to scroll down if you cannot see them) ensure you download ALL the documentation and download to complete. Select the file right click and save to your device. 4. If you have logged out after 'Registering an interest' If you did not select the option identified in paragraph 2 immediately use the following:- i. Log back into the NEPO Portal and from the Home page go to the opportunity using 'My Activities' which is located at the top of the Home page ii. ii. You can filter your search by using 'Narrow your results', filter to the Buyer, then select 'Update' and there is an option to reduce the list further either by searching using a word with the title and select 'Go', e.g. Roller which will reduce the list to ones only containing that word, alternatively, check page by page. The list will show your current activities, you can select the one you wish to view by selecting that opportunity; anything underlined in blue is a link to another page in the Portal Additional information: The Documentation is available to access and download immediately once organisations have registered their interest in this opportunity via the ProContract electronic Tendering Portal ONLY and the, website https://procontract.due-north.com The link to North Tyneside Councils Tender opportunities is:- https://my.northtyneside.gov.uk/category/606/tender-and-contract-opportunities
