The University of Sheffield Pensions Scheme (the Scheme) is a defined benefit occupational pension scheme. The Scheme's principal employer is the University of Sheffield (The University) This invitation to tender covers the role of Secretary to the Trustee. The University of Sheffield are acting as agents for the Scheme Trustee in relation to this tender and are using the In-Tend portal to conduct the procurement process. The scheme trustee is not a contracting authority and therefore procurement procedures are based on those of the scheme. Registration to obtain documents and all communications (including submission of tenders) must be carried out via the portal which can be accessed at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sheffield Brief statement of requirements includes the management and monitoring of Trustee quarterly meetings, governance and compliance requirements, recommendations on training and general administration.
