CCP18006 - Medical Supplies Contract

Notice Description

Derbyshire County Council are inviting interested parties to tender for the supply and distribution of first aid requisites to sites located within the geographical area of Derbyshire in order for the Council to establish a contract with an experienced company who can supply high performance, high quality products. The contract will be available to all departments of the Council. Examples of establishments where first aid requisites are required could include Derbyshire County Council Area Offices, Homes for Older People, Educational Establishments and Environmental and Transport departments. Delivery will therefore be required across the Derbyshire region to supply and to meet ad hoc requirements. A wide range of first aid requisites are important in order to allow Council employees to be treated appropriately by first aiders therefore quality, reliability and consistency of supply are key considerations for the Council whilst offering cost effective solutions and adhering to legal standards. The approximate total value of the contract based on current rates of requirement is approximately PS40k per annum but the Council cannot guarantee this value and it is based only on estimated needs. The contract will be for an initial period of 2 years, with the possible extension of two further 12 month periods subject to performance reviews. When submitting prices using Appendix B Derbyshire County Council invite quotations for products on a like for like equivalent or of superior quality. The Appendix A - Specification will be scored out of a possible 30%. The Appendix B - Pricing Schedule will be scored out of a possible 70%. Free of charge samples of items quoted for may be required for evaluation purposes.
