This procurement aims to appoint a single contractor, either an individual organisation or a consortium, to support the delivery of NLE reforms, focusing on personnel services related to education. The tender is currently in the planning stage with a deadline for submissions on 16 October 2020. The total budget for the contract is £2.5 million, covering a period starting from 14 December 2020 to 13 December 2023, with the possibility of two one-year extensions depending on performance and budget availability. Companies that can demonstrate a capacity for national outreach and adapt their strategies according to the evolving needs of schools would be particularly well-suited to compete. The DfE encourages diverse economic operators, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs), to participate in this procurement process, offering a chance to contribute to crucial educational reforms and grow within the public sector.
