Notice Description
This contract is for the lease of a waste compactor for use by WDH for the compaction of general waste. This would be located at our waste management site at Trident Park, Normanton, WF6 1GX. This is to run alongside an existing compactor to ensure that exchanges of containers only take place when full. The specification of the current compactor is detailed below and we are looking for a compactor with similar specification.Compaction Force: 32 Tonnes Power Requirements: RCD Protected 3-phase earth and neutral 415v/32 amp with D Type motor rated breakers terminated within 2 metres of machine. Motor: 11kW Noise Level: 70dB at 3m From Unit Cycle Time: 75 Seconds Charge Box Volume: 3.82m3 Volume Per Stroke: 2.16m3 Charge Box Length From Ram Face: 2130mm Charge Box Depth: 1480mm Ram Depth: 700mm Ram Diameter: 150mm Running Hydraulic Pressure: 2000psi Pinning Hydraulic Pressure: 2150psi Overall Length: 5368mm Overall Width: 1645mm Main Frame Height: 1300mm Interested parties can access this opportunity through the Proactis ProContract e-tendering portal (https://procontract.due-north.com/register).
