Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust would like to invite providers to attend a 'Market Engagement Event' which will inform the market of Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust intention's to procure a patient referral platform to support the activities of the Digital Control Centre. Introduction Salford Royal NHS Foundation University Teaching Trust (SRFT) is a highly regarded integrated provider of hospital, community and primary care services Trust. Our team of 7,000 staff provides local services to the City of Salford and specialist services to Greater Manchester and beyond. As part of our ongoing work, a Digital Control Centre is being established, bringing together the latest advances in data analytics and digital health to achieve a world-leading organisation, which has operational excellence, the best quality healthcare and patient experience. This project has the opportunity to scale across the Northern Alliance and potentially across the rest of the NHS. Driving improvements in patient flow is a key objective of the Digital Control Centre. Integral to this is understanding workflows related to patient referrals (outside of and within the organsiation) and developing live information regarding inter-hospital patient transfers. This development also offers the opportunity to deliver an advice and guidance system for use with primary care.
