Notice Description

Wigan Council are seeking to appoint a Heat meter billing platform provider to serve 2 extra care schemes currently being developed within Wigan Council's direct delivery programme and two existing schemes that are already served by other third party billing providers. More information on the scheme is provided below. A full description of the requirements is available in the associated documents: 1. The two extra care schemes are 51 and 56 units with communal facilities. The successful bidder will be required to provide heat meter billing platform services for these schemes for 5 years. The contractors are employed to install the heat metering equipment so once a provider is successful, we will engage them with the works contractors with regards installing billing equipment. 2. The two additional sites that are currently serviced by other billing providers consist of 39 and 25 apartments in two locations. there is also the possibility of two further schemes of around 25 units each currently in planning stages. Wigan Council will be running a mini competition from Procure Public's Meters, Billing & District Heating Framework (2020/S 195-473224) to appoint a Provider.
