Notice Title

Framework for Assessment Training for staff working in Cornwall Council's Children's Early Help, Psychology and Social Care Service

Notice Description

Please note that this early engagement has now been completed. Please do not respond. Assessments are a way of gathering information about a child and their family which enable the practitioner to gain a better understanding of the needs of the child and identify whether or not these needs are being met by the family or services that are already provided. They also enable the practitioner to identify the risk the child faces as well as strategies to reduce these risks. An assessment should also enable the practitioner to identify the ways in which they can support the family to build on their existing and potential strengths to ensure that the child is safe and that their needs are met appropriately. We are looking for expressions of interest from individuals or organizations who might be interested in submitting a quotation for delivering training that will support those working in the Children's Early Help, Psychology and Social Care Service to further develop their assessment skills. If you would like to be invited to submit a quotation for this work please contact me by 5pm on Thursday 5th May. Further details and a full specification will be sent out after that date to all those who have expressed an interest by 5pm on 5/5/16.
