The Authority current Contingency Crew resilience model is supported by an external contractor for Officers in Charge of fire pumps/appliances. In order to support this model the Authority has identified a potential requirement to increase this resilience with the support of a commercial operator who can offer the necessary capacity, knowledge and skills to either work alongside crews or on their own if required. This requirement is only likely to be required in the event of: * Natural Disaster * Terrorist Event * Pandemic outbreak * Industrial Action * Another unforeseen similar event.
