It offers unique prospects for companies specialising in professional services for the gas industry, gas storage, and construction for the oil and gas sector. While not specifically targeting SMEs or VCSEs, the initiative encourages large and experienced players in the field to participate through various engagement activities such as surveys, focus groups, and supplier meetings. Companies that secure contracts can benefit from contributing to a pivotal infrastructure project that supports the UK's clean energy ambitions.

Notice Title

Hydrogen Storage Business Model - Procurement for Hydrogen Storage Rights and associated remarketing services

Notice Description

OPEN EARLY MARKET ENGAGEMENT - this means that a procurement idea is currently active. It is in the early stage of development and judging interest from potential suppliers. Hydrogen storage infrastructure will be critical in supporting the government's low carbon hydrogen production ambitions and the mission to achieve clean power by 2030.
