Summary of the contracting process

The National Army Museum (NAM) is seeking to appoint a heavy object transport company for the project titled "Transport and Installation of Vehicle and Object Display." This procurement falls under the museum services industry category and is located in London, specifically for the Chelsea Foyer. Currently in the Tender stage, the procurement process employs an open procedure below the threshold, with a tender period that ends on 27th September 2019. The contract is expected to start on 30th September 2019 and needs completion by 28th October 2019, with a budget set at £10,000.

This tender presents a lucrative opportunity for businesses specialising in heavy transport and installation services, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that can demonstrate expertise in handling large, fragile items. Companies capable of managing logistical challenges, such as moving exhibits between various locations and installing them in a museum environment, would find this project particularly well-suited to their capabilities. As the NAM seeks professional partners to enhance their exhibitions, successful bidders could significantly increase their visibility and experience in the cultural sector, paving the way for further contracts in similar domains.
