This tender is classified under the CPV category of "Exhibition, fair and congress organisation services." The procurement is at the Tender stage, with a deadline for submissions set for 7th October 2020. The contract period will commence on 30th November 2020 and run until 29th November 2023, with the main activity taking place at Dukinfield Town Hall in the North West of England. Notice Title

Pride of Tameside Business Awards (POTBA) Delivery Partner

Notice Description

A delivery partner to take on the full risk and responsibility for delivery of the Pride of Tameside Business Awards on behalf of the Tameside Prosperous Network, under a concessionary contract. Tameside Council supports the Prosperous Network and would be the legal entity procuring the concessionary contract provider. The event is held annually in October. 250-300 seats are sold for the awards which generates funds to hold the event. The sale of seats is closely linked to award nominated businesses. The commercial nature of the event in generating entries, ticket sales, sponsors and running the industry standard event needs to be undertaken by a specialist provider. The event starts with a zero budget and currently operates on profit share between a company called Tame Valley Regeneration Consortium Ltd and the existing provider Don't Panic Events. The Council would look to run a similar model with a profit share over a set amount (dictated by market). The partner's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the promotion of the awards to generate entries, sell tickets and sign up sponsors, the organisation of a judging panel to assess entries and the delivery of a black tie awards dinner at Dukinfield Town Hall in October or November.
