Notice Description

The East of England Collaborative Procurement Hub is looking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the procurement of Specialist Pharmacy Courier Services for Deliveries to Patients. The DPS is a two-stage process. There is no limit on the number of suppliers that may join the DPS. New suppliers can also apply to join the DPS at any point during its lifetime. Individual contracts are awarded during the second stage. In this stage, approved users of the DPS (referred to as Contracting Authorities) will invite all suppliers on the DPS for the relevant category to bid for a specific contract. This DPS is for the procurement of Specialist Pharmacy Courier Services for deliveries to patients such as, but not limited to: Delivering outpatient medications prescribed via virtual clinics to patients' homes, places of work or other appropriate locations, Delivering discharge medications following patient discharge from hospital. The scope includes provision for delivery time and location scheduling either by the Supplier or the Authority as appropriate and agreed. The scope excludes the dispensing of medicines by the supplier.
