As no Cabinet meeting was held in June 2024 due to the General Election, an Urgent Decision was made for a variation to the contract. The Chief Executive of Norwich City Council took this decision following consultation with the Leader of the Council, leaders of all political groups, chair of Scrutiny Committee, the Portfolio Holder for Housing, Monitoring Officer and the Chief Finance Officer. July 2024, the contract was varied for the period to 30 June 2025 with an increased awarded contract value of PS725,000. On 13/11/2024 - a meeting of Cabinet was held. It was noted the dates of the contract should be 01/04/2024 to 31/03/2025 as originally awarded 28/03/2024 (the date up to 30/06/2025 as varied in July24 was incorrect). It was also approved that an additional value of PS925,000 was needed to be able to complete the works programme making a total of PS1,650,000,00. As awarded under a Framework, the full procurement exercise is fully compliant with PCR 2015.",
