Notice Title

CPU 3889 Aids & Adaptations (Tendered on behalf of Ashfield District Council)

Notice Description

Nottingham City Council is undertaking this procurement exercise on behalf of Ashfield District Council. Ashfield District Council are the Contracting Authority; and will be entering into the Contract with the appointed supplier. Ashfield District Council is seeking tenders for a Contractor to undertake works relating to Aids and Adaptations to Council and privately owned properties throughout the District of Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. The Contract is to be delivered as two separate streams of work, as the operational considerations and scope of works required will differ from those required to Council properties to those delivered under the Disabled Facilities Grant (privately owned properties). To this end, both the Specifications and Schedule of Works documents deal with these streams of work separately, as to ensure that the successful Contractor is clear on these differences and how the Authority wishes to deliver the required works. Based on the above, it is essential that the Contractor has sufficient resources to deliver both streams of works concurrently, as it will not be considered satisfactory to have teams alternate from one stream of work to another. The Authority's detailed requirements are set out in the Specification section and accompanying documentation.
