JOB COACH Rate of Pay: Band F (PS16.06 per hour to worker) Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Mixture of working from home and Sandwell Council House in Oldbury Contract type: Temporary until 31 July 2022 Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Job Summary: The Restart Job Coach (adviser) will manage a caseload of up to 65 unemployed participants, helping them to overcome barriers to employment and provide support to move them into sustainable employment. The Job Coach will provide professional, intensive support, advice and guidance to customers accessing the programme and develop close working relationships with local employers. This will include providing encouragement, training, job brokerage, and co-ordinated activities including development planning and effective monitoring and guidance that will ensure progression to sustained employment. This is a demanding role and applicants will need to be able to work quickly and accurately to in line with systems and processes, be outcome focused, resilient and determined, with excellent interpersonal skills and good levels of English and ICT skills. To carry out this role effectively, you will be required to work from outreach offices in Sandwell, including Oldbury Job Centre on a rota basis, for a minimum of 4 days a week. The successful candidate will have English and Maths GCSE 4/C or Level 2 or equivalent. A Level 3 IAG qualification or equivalent.
