The University of Exeter is currently conducting an open tender for a project titled "VW foundation - Public opinion panel surveys." This procurement focuses on survey conduction services within the social research industry, covering at least three European countries: the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. The tender was published on 24th October 2018, and the application deadline is set for 21st November 2018, with the contract period commencing on 3rd December 2018 and lasting until 3rd December 2021. The expected contract value ranges from £80,000 to £115,000, with delivery required in the South West region of the United Kingdom.

Additionally, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate, offering a unique chance for them to expand their market reach and engage with public sector projects.

Notice Title

VW foundation - Public opinion panel surveys

Notice Description

The tender for this portion of the project will field nationally representative public opinion panel surveys research in at least 3 European countries (United Kingdom, Germany, France) to measure policy preferences and beliefs about foreign and domestic policy. This work package is necessary to assessing the nature and variation of public opinion about foreign policy in Europe. By looking at beliefs in multiple countries and at multiple points in time, it is possible to examine a much richer set of potential individual and institutional level factors that may limit or exacerbate the spread of misperceptions, and give us a better understanding of the contextual factors that condition receptivity to corrective messages. But just as importantly, it provides an opportunity to collect public opinion data on issues that pose potential risk to the health and wellbeing of the EU as an institution and to European populations more generally.
