Notice Description

The University of East Anglia invites submissions for participation in a framework for two lots in relation asbestos removal: Lot 1 - Planned Removal of Asbestos: Project based, planned removal of absestos as part of UEA's asbestos removal and building renovations. Lot 2 - Unplanned/Reactive removal of Asbestos: Reactive works relating to emergency circumstances where asbestos is uncovered on site unintentionally. In each lot it is anticipated that there will be 3 suppliers appointed, as per the guidance in attached documents. Additional information: The university is tendering for Planned and Reactive Asbestos Removal Services, if you are interested in this contract please log onto our electronic tendering portal InTend (https://in-tendhost.co.uk/universityofeastanglia/aspx/home), and follow the instruction to register on the system and download the tender documentation. InTend is an electronic tender system. It allows us to advertise our requirements for services and goods and for suppliers to express their interest in such opportunities. The system provides for the secure transfer of documents; queries to be dealt with sufficiently; evaluation of SQs and shortlisting suppliers; evaluation of tender returns and finally award of contract.
