Notice Description

AWARD ONLY OF:- Support and maintenance for the Authority's Telephony in particular with SIP migration which is a change to the provision of the telephone lines to NTC. We currently have 180 Featurenet 1000 phone lines, 120 into Quadrant and 60 into Killingworth which carry all of NTC's phone calls. BT's Featurenet 1000 will be end of life in 2020 so in advance of this the Authority is migrating to SIP. The current Featurenet contract includes line rentals plus call. SIP trunking is the service that's in the fast process of replacing ISDN lines. It's a telephony service that's IP-based, which means you can conjoin voice and data services in order to make your business' telecoms more economically efficient.
