Notice Description

The Commission has already published comprehensive online guidance on pregnancy and maternity for employers and employees to explain compliance with equality law. The new assets are not intended to duplicate this guidance but rather to explain pragmatic steps to develop good practice. The Commission expects the contractor/s to use their expertise to suggest issues the assets should cover and appropriate formats for the assets. Suggested issues that the assets could focus on include: 1.Demonstrating leadership from the top down 2.Ensuring confident employees 3.Training and supporting line managers 4.Offering flexible working practices For each area the contractor/s will: *Agree the content with the Commission *Identify the format that will meet the users' needs *Develop or draft the assets *User test the assets to ensure they meet user needs and demonstrate how they have used the insights gained to inform development of new content The assets must be concise, inspirational, use Plain English and be consistent with the editorial style and positive tone of the campaign. The assets must meet the Commission's accessibility requirements and the Working Forward style guide which will be provided to the successful contractor.
