Notice Description

Expressions of interest are invited for the above tender. Further information about the Venue can be found at http://www.manchestercentral.co.uk/ If you are interested in pursuing this opportunity, please express interest via ProContract using the reference number DN368788 https://procontract.due-north.com The last date to request the documentation for the tender will be 12:00 noon 16th October 2018. Invitations to Tender (ITT)'s will be sent out on 16th October 2018 to all organisations expressing an interest in response to this notice. The closing date for receipt of completed documentation will be 12:00 noon on 24th November 2018 Contracts will be awarded in December with a targeted start date of 01st January 2019. Manchester Central does not undertake to bind itself to accept the lowest price or any individual Tender. Manchester Central will not be liable for any costs incurred in tendering for this contract. If you have any queries relating to this notice please contact the procurement team via email procurement@manchestercentral.co.uk. Please state the tender code in the email subject. Manchester Central is currently looking for a contractor to provide these connections from the fixed house installation. The successful contractor will provide competent staff with appropriate qualifications, who will be based at Manchester Central and who will check and approve all the client's requirements regarding temporary services, providing the equipment to undertake the installation i.e., cables distribution boards and pipes and competently install and check the individual installations. The Contractor's staff will also be responsible for all aspects of maintenance to the temporary equipment and maintain it to a standard approved by Manchester Central. It is the responsibility of the contractor to ensure the ductwork covering floor slabs are located correctly and pose no health and safety risk. Where temporary covers are used it is the contractors responsibility to ensure a suitable method is used .Charges for all aspects of the temporary installation will be made directly by the contractor to the client, based upon a Manchester Central predetermined annual rate. The Contractor will then pay an agreed commission to Manchester Central calculated as a percentage of such Client sales.
