Notice Title

CP1609-08 Automatic of Data - Virtual Worker

Notice Description

To use Virtual Worker (Automation) to cleanse data using the same processes as an existing data operative, but continues to process during non-working hours. The Authority currently receives updates of children's data from schools on a weekly basis. The demand for data has increased significantly in recent years with requirements to bring in records from public and school facing portals having a significant impact on the amount of data received (2.5 million items) since 31 August 2017. This increase is not new work but an increase in the existing requirement. Around 80% of these incoming records relate to Addresses and Carer data. Much of this data is currently discarded as a duplication of data we currently hold. DCC's requirement is to maintain suspense levels at around 14,000 outside of peak periods, this target has not been met since June 2017 levels can range from 10,000 to 40,000 student records
