The Town Council is inviting expressions of interest to undertake works to the electricity supply of the main town square. The town council holds multiple major events using the main square as its showpiece. The market operates a charter market on Saturday which draws power via a range of sockets in the square. these are supplied via circa 9 junction boxes in pillars. The Town Council requires the winning bid to inspect, improve, certify all work ahead of end October 2022. Initial detailed investigation has taken place which has provided a clear steer on technical works. The winning bidder will have sight of this road map. The Town Council will use a regenerated power supply to deliver its increasingly busy events calendar in an environmentally friendly manner.
