Birmingham City University is currently in the planning stage of the "BCU Network Infrastructure Project - Early Engagement Opportunity". This initiative aims to modernise and rationalise the university's existing IT network infrastructure, including its WAN, LAN, Hybrid, WiFi, cellular, and telephony networks. Interested suppliers are invited to engage in discussions about their capabilities prior to the release of formal tender documentation, which is expected in early 2020. The engagement period will conclude on 11 October 2019, with the project primarily located in the West Midlands, England.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses that specialise in network infrastructure solutions, including those experienced in IT integration, security, and data management. Companies that are adept in providing modern and scalable network systems, and those focused on enhancing connectivity and resilience within educational institutions, will find this procurement particularly relevant.
