Notice Title
Local Land Charges Software - Soft Market Test
Notice Description
The overall purpose of the Local land Charge Service is to maintain the Local Land Charges register and provide Local Land Charge searches for the community of Herefordshire. The main clients are solicitors and private search companies who complete conveyancing transactions for all those who are involved in various matters relating to the transfer/mortgaging of property. The service currently completes approx. 2000 searches per year and manually registers some 250 records within the land charges system. Interface registrations are received from other departments, with the majority of interface items being received from Planning Services. The current contract is due to expire in February 2020, so the Council is undertaking a soft market test for the purpose of establishing whether there are any organisations that are interested in providing Land Charges software. Information provided will assist the Council in finalising the requirements of the solution and approach to the market. Additional information: If you would be interested in helping the Council with this soft market test, please log onto the ProContract e-tendering portal and register an interest in this opportunity. There you will find an outline brief and a questionnaire to complete and return to us by 27th September 2019. https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk/
