Summary of the contracting process

The TBAP Multi Academy Trust is currently soliciting tenders for a catering contract aimed at servicing four of its schools located in West London. The procurement process is at the tender stage, with submissions due by 31st July 2020. This opportunity is classified under school catering services, engaging the selected contractor for a one-year period from 1st September 2020 to 31st August 2021, with an estimated contract value of £500,000. The tender is being conducted through a restricted procedure and aims to provide innovative, healthy meal options for students, including Halal meals.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the catering industry to expand their market presence and service offerings. Businesses with proven experience in delivering meal services to educational institutions would particularly benefit. The successful contractor will not only provide a required food service but also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of student health standards through fresh and locally sourced food, thereby enhancing their reputation and potentially leading to future contracts with other educational entities.
