Bourne Hall is located in the heart of historic Ewell Village on the headsprings of the River Hogsmill. Part of the building is on hire for wedding receptions, civil ceremonies, meetings and conferences. Remaining part of the building contain library, cafe and museum area. The importance of high-quality toilet facilities cannot be underestimated for the building that hold venues listed above. Public toilets are especially important for older people, disabled people, families (especially those with babies and very young children), tourists and visitors. The aim of this project is to refurbish existing ladies toilets to a prestigious condition which will help to attract hirers as well as offer a number of energy saving solutions including reduced water and electricity use. The proposed refurbishment includes the following: The provision of wall linings to specified wall areas The provision of hygienic cladding to specified wall areas The replacement of toilet cubicles and duct linings The replacement of WC pans and flushing system The replacement of vanity unit The provision of mains water supply and replacement of water heater The redecoration of areas around windows The replacement of toilet entrance door The replacement of heating radiator The replacement of suspended ceiling The replacement of flooring The provision of new extraction system The replacement of hand driers
