Grounds Maintenance Services North and South
Notice Description
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea are seeking to appoint two Service Providers for the Grounds Maintenance Services to Council housing estates and playground inspections. Lot 1 / Contract 1, is for works predominately in the North of the Borough. Lot 2 / Contract 2, is predominately in the South of the Borough. The Grounds Maintenance Services will comprise of the upkeep and clearance of the landscaped areas of the estates within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, comprising:- - Grassed Areas - Shrubs/Rose Beds/Flower Beds - Trees - up to 3.0m - Hedges - Hard Surfaces - Safety Surfaces - Play Areas - Inspections - Planters - Including Hanging Baskets - Signs and Sign Posts - Winter Preparations - Gritting Pathways - Bins - the inspection and identification of necessary works to playgrounds on the estates The Procurement Documents, including all communications relating thereto, will be undertaken via the Procurement Portal (https://www.capitalesourcing.com) Additional information: The Procurement, including all communications relating thereto, will be undertaken via the Procurement Portal (https://www.capitalesourcing.com). If Bidders experience technical difficulties with the Procurement Portal, they are requested to contact the system portal administrator (BravoSolutions) via https://www.capitalesourcing.com For critical and time-sensitive issues (normally requiring resolution within 60 minutes) Bidders should call the HELPDESK Phone: 0800 069 8630. Supplier help guides are also available from https://www.capitalesourcing.com All Bidders are responsible for ensuring that they check for messages regularly on all accounts they hold with CapitalEsolutions. The Authority recommends that the Bidder holds a single account on the portal, in order to avoid missing messages. The Authority is not responsible for any Bidder's error due to duplication of accounts, or for any messages it fails to read, or any other misuse of the Procurement Portal. Tenders must be submitted via the Procurement Portal by the due time and date for return, as set out in the timetable below and stated on the portal. The Contract Agreement term offered is 5 years (with a 2 year break clause) with an option to extend for 5 years in increments of 5 further 1 year extensions depending on the Service Providers performance (which shall be at the Authority's sole discretion to a maximum of 10 years in total).
