Contract for provision, development and maintenance of Contracts Finder and Find a Tender websites
Notice Description
This is notification of our intention to let a contract using the Digital Outcomes and Specialists Framework 4 : https://www.crowncommercial.gov.uk/agreements/RM1043.6 The scope of the requirement will be for the provision, development and maintenance of two e-notification services, Contracts Finder (CFS) and Find a Tender (FTS) This will cover hosting, support and development of all environments for both systems. We intend to commence the procurement in mid to late January About Find a Tender (FTS) Find a Tender will launch at the end of the Transition Period. It is the UK's free to use replacement for the EU's Tenders Electronic Daily portal. It is anticipated Find a Tender will have over 60,000 registered users and handle over 50,000 individual notices pa. Contracting authorities are legally required to use the service to publish procurement information above certain value thresholds (>PS100k). Contracting authorities can publish 24 different notice types, according to the Regulation, procedure and stage within the procurement process. They may publish either directly through a web-based user interface or via a registered eSender. It lets suppliers search for high value public sector, utilities and works contracts, typically above PS118,000, across the whole of the UK. Users can create an account to get email updates and save searches. About Contracts Finder (CFS) Contracts Finder is the UK's free to use procurement-advertising portal. It has been live since 2011. The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 require the majority of non-devolved public bodies to publish opportunities and awards above certain low value thresholds ( PS10,000 in central government and PS25,000 in the wider public sector) on Contracts Finder. Contracts Finder has over 62,000 registered users. Of its registered supplier users, 68% are SMEs. In 2019/20, over 50,000 individual notices were published on Contracts Finder. Contracting authorities have a choice of four notices that they can publish according to their needs. Both FTS and CFS provide a range of OCDS compliant data outputs for re-use and both are integrated with the CCS-owned Supplier Registration Service for user registration. The successful supplier will need to develop both systems in support of the rules reform agenda being flexible to emerging needs and work to integrate these existing systems with ongoing initiatives.
