NWL0146 Provision of North Kensington Recovery Digital Archiving Services

Notice Description

NHS NW London ICB requires the provision of North Kensington (NK) Digital Archiving Services from 3rd April 2023 until mid July 2023 (estimated value: PS30,000.00 excluding VAT). The ICB is seeking interest from capable providers. The digital archivist will work in partnership with the Head of Programme Management Office - NK Recovery & NK Recovery Consultant Disaster Recovery Expert to produce a chronicle of events since the night of the Grenfell Tower fire. The scope of the exercise will encompass all NK Recovery digital records that exist from the night of the Grenfell Tower fire - 14th June 2017 to the present day. There are estimated to be 60,000 files. However, not all files are within scope. It is the responsibility of the Provider undertaking the digital preservation project to: -Provide options as to the most appropriate way to complete the project. (i.e. Indexing, Metadata, Advice on hosting (as required), Storage format i.e. documents.) -Work with the stakeholder group/board to agree the process for undertaking the project. -Work with key stakeholders to provide a complete timeline of events, activities & decisions from the time of the fire to present day. -Operate within the digital structure & framework of the ICB to create a digital archive. The chronicle will consider: 1. Governance -Commissioning of Grenfell related services, specifically respiratory, mental health & children & young people services. -Financial assurance processes. 2. Interface with the Grenfell-affected community The aims of the project are to: -Create a chronicle of events following the Grenfell Tower fire to preserve organisational knowledge for future use. -Establish governance procedures for the commissioning of NK Recovery services. -Ascertain community interface to inform community services. The objectives of the exercise are as follows: -Identification of events in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower fire to inform a chronicle of events. -Identification & preservation of digital records to support the chronicle. -Identify governance processes utilised to inform commissioning decisions. -Identify financial processes utilised to inform commissioning decisions. -Establish decision making for the commissioning of initial Grenfell related health & wellbeing services & subsequent NK Recovery services. -Identify where community engagement was utilised to inform commissioning decisions. The ICB is committed to assess the needs of the service users & consider how (if relevant) it needs to secure the needs of the people who use the services, & improve the quality & efficiency in the provision of the services including through the services being provided in an integrated way.
