Call for Case Study Support - Videographers

Notice Description

As both the Digital Skills and Skills for Clean Growth move into the latter stages of delivery, the team are looking to engage with several businesses who have been supported through the programme to create case studies (approx. 4 pieces of content per programme, equalling 8 in total) highlighting the benefits that SMEs have gained from engaging. * Videos 1 & 2 will be approximately 2-4 minutes in length, and each will focus on an individual business. * Video 3 will be approximately 4-6 minutes in length and incorporate feedback from multiple businesses. * Video 4 will be a social edit and ideally no longer than 30 seconds. Key areas to be highlighted through the video content generated in the clips: o Reasons for engaging with the programme i.e. commercial imperative, existing skills gap in org, future proofing for success against competition. o Scale of the challenge ahead. o Knowledge grown through programme engagement. o Any subsequent activity undertaken to help reach the regions' goals in digital or sustainability. o Why the support/skills ecosystem in the WECA region is so important. As part of the content creation process it will also be expected that the following options will be provisioned for: o Subtitles o Provision of raw files to enable future edits if required. o 3 still photography brand/headshots per company that can be used with transcribed quotes from the interview for future infographics. Flexibility around how the content can be edited and finalised for posting online is a key factor working closely with UWE staff to ensure the product is inline with requirements. Commitment The selected business will work with UWE Bristol staff for the duration of the project, expected to conclude by end of June 2023. Content will be created in a range of locations across the WECA region to best suit businesses needs, either: * On campus at Bristol UWE. * At the relevant business' facilities. * Provision for online recording if required. Applications Applicants must demonstrate the following: * Prior experience of delivering video content, if possible with or for other skills providers. * Prior experience of working with SME's is desired * Experience of delivering the above within a business setting is desired Applications will be assessed against the following criteria: 1. Relevant experience 2. Example delivery plans or outlines of relevant support offers you can provide 3. Value for money 4. Commitment to ESG including a. Environmental sustainability b. Diversity & Inclusion We particularly encourage applications from Black, Asian, Multiple Heritage or Other Minority Ethnic candidates as we are currently under-represented in these areas within UWE Bristol however all appointments are made on merit.
