Rough Sleepers Street Outreach
Notice Description
In partnership, Ipswich Borough Council (IBC) and Suffolk Coastal District Council (SCDC) have been successful in securing grant funding from the Department for communities and Local Government (DCLG) to help those new to the street, or at imminent risk of rough sleeping to get the rapid support they need to recover and move on from a rough sleeping crisis. One element of the funding is to be used to provide 40 hours Rough Sleeper Street Outreach (RSSO). This invitation is for quotations from providers who feel they can offer this service to the general specification provided below within the Ipswich and Suffolk Coastal Districts. It is also expected that the organisation awarded the funding will greater promote Street Link to increase alerts, extending a key element of prevention and a starting point for intervention.
