Please note it can take 5-7 days after registration is submitted to gain membership. Further information and how to register can be found in the 'Additional Text' section of this PIN. Evidence tells us that healthy nutritious food is vital to allow children to learn and develop positively. The Department for Education (DfE) intends to undertake a procurement exercise to appoint a suitably experienced organisation, or individual, to develop high-quality comprehensive online 'Nutrition' content to support practitioners to understand and fulfil the requirement within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework that states: 'Where children are provided with meals, snacks and drinks, they must be healthy, balanced and nutritious'. The successful bidder will utilise their expertise and understanding of early years nutrition and the early years sector to fulfil a number of activities. This will include producing printable recipe cards, videos and images to support the written content, to make it accessible and engaging for the intended audience. The DfE will be holding a market engagement event on Thursday 21st September, 11:00 - 12:00. If you wish to attend the market engagement event, you must register for the event via the registration page. The registration page can be accessed by using the link below.
