Notice Description
he FAB Team (Financial Assessment and Benefits) are responsible for undertaking financial assessments to establish how much AHC will contribute towards the cost of a care package , and how much a service user can afford to contribute themselves. The department needs to move the complex, paper-based adult social care financial assessment process to a supported digital model. The department also need an Income Maximisation module; aimed at users to independently maximise their income. This module combines nationally and locally administered benefits which feature adviser-led guidance and assistance tools throughout. This should be driven by a DWP-recommended built-in benefits calculator.
