Currently in the planning stage, the procurement process is set to allow organisations to express interest in delivering basic digital training for various council departments. Interested parties should submit their responses by the end of July, with the contract expected to commence on 3rd August 2020 and concluding on 4th August 2020.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for training providers, particularly those specialising in digital skills development and ICT training. Businesses offering mobile or interactive training solutions will be particularly well-suited to compete, as the programme aims to enhance both professional skills and general digital literacy for council employees. In addition, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, which can help foster competitive advantage and visibility within the public sector training market.
