Notice Title

Archives Consultancy - South Yorkshire Archives Partnership

Notice Description

This tender seeks consultants to develop an audience engagement plan and to prepare us to apply for external funding for a step change in service provision for our audiences. 1. Review our existing audience data and service offer / activities to establish who uses us - demographics, location, reason for use, etc, how do these users access our services? How much South Yorkshire crossover is there? 2. Undertake research into who doesn't use us - demographics, location, etc. Why don't they use us? What would encourage them to use us? 3. Consult with non-users (for examples schools / colleges / universities / community groups, etc) to further understand what would encourage them to take advantage of archive services across South Yorkshire. 4. Present options for focusing on particular groups that we may wish to reach (this may be geographically based, or age based, etc.) 5. Develop a set of deliverable activities to reach out to our target audiences and a detailed action plan to broaden our audiences and extend our reach. 6. Create an Audience Development Plan for the partnership (to include both digital and in person audiences). 7. Use the results of the Audience Development Plan to create an expression of Interest to the National Heritage Lottery Fund (NHLF) for a major application for PS500,000+ to them for a step change in service provision (improved access and audience engagement).
