Carriageway High Friction Surfacing 2018
Notice Description
This Tender is for the supply and application of High Friction Surfacing (Epoxy type 1 and methyl methacrylate (MMA)) in Torbay, Devon. Typical sites are the approaches to signal controlled junctions, roundabouts and pedestrian crossings subject to a heavy flow of vehicles and maintenance of existing applications. Additionally the Contractor may also be instructed to undertake work to traffic calming schemes, cycle paths, demarcation of hatched areas, etc. It is anticipated that the quantity of work to be undertaken through this contract will be in the order of 20,000 m2, with up to 50% of this work being carried out outside of normal working hours.
